The Lonerism Drum Sample Pack (44.1khz)
The Lonerism Drum Sample Pack (44.1khz)
The Most Accurate Tame Impala Drum Sample Pack to Date!
For years we’ve been tinkering around with replicating the vibiest, most bombastic drum sound created this decade. We’re of course talking about the drum sound heard on Tame Impala’s Lonerism, a psych rock master piece. With Covid-19 ravaging the entire world, we finally had some time to lock ourselves away for a month to bring you this authentic and impossible to beat sample pack.
RCR’s Lonerism Drum Sample Pack was recorded with the same drums, microphones, preamps, and analog equipment used by Kevin Parker and Dave Fridmann throughout the production and mixing of Tame Impala’s sophomore LP.
Our 1963 Ludwig Drum Kit and 60’s Ludwig Supraphonic Snare were tuned to within a semitone of Kevin’s kit on Lonerism and the same model ride cymbal and hi hats are also featured.
All samples were recorded with Chandler TG-2, BAE 1073, API, and Grace preamps.
All sounds were mixed here at Red Convertible Recording on ATC Active Monitors with various pieces of outboard gear used on Lonerism, including the legendary DBX 165a, Shure SE-30, and UREI 546 Equalizer.
Over 70 unique one shots of Kicks, Snares, Toms, Hats and Cymbals and 90 total samples!
Available in both 44.1khz and 48khz sample rates
This cover is a great example of the sounds you can expect to hear in the Lonerism Sample Pack. This cover was recorded during the same session as the drum samples themselves!
